Finance leadership
Fractional CFO services in the UAE
A senior finance lead for a set number of days a month. You get reliable monthly numbers, a cash forecast you can act on, budgets the owners actually use, and someone who can sit with your bank or board. It suits growing, owner-managed companies that have outgrown bookkeeping but don't yet need a full-time CFO.
Who needs a fractional CFO?
- Owner-managed manufacturing, trading and services companies
- Businesses where the owner still signs off every payment
- Companies preparing for bank financing, investors or a sale
- Finance teams that record well but don't yet report for decisions
What does a fractional CFO do for you?
- Monthly reportingA month-end close and a short management pack: profit, cash, working capital and the few numbers that matter to you.
- Cash forecastingA rolling 13-week cash forecast, so you see pressure weeks before it reaches the bank account.
- Budgets and targetsA budget built with the people who have to deliver it, and a monthly review against it.
- Banks and investorsFinancial information prepared the way lenders and investors read it, and support in the meetings.
- Pricing and marginsProduct and customer profitability, so pricing and discount decisions rest on real costs.
- Your finance teamClear roles, a close calendar and coaching, so the routine runs without us.
What is outside our scope?
- We do not sign financial statements or act as your statutory auditor.
- We do not file tax returns or deal with the FTA on your behalf; we prepare and review with your team and registered tax agent.
- We do not hold signing authority over your bank accounts.

Frequently asked questions
Which tax deadlines should a finance lead track?
The corporate tax return is due within 9 months of the end of the tax period (Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022, Article 53(1)). VAT returns and payments are due within 28 days of the end of each VAT period. In-scope businesses below AED 50 million must appoint an e-invoicing provider by 31 March 2027.
How is a fractional CFO different from an accountant?
An accountant records and reports what happened. A fractional CFO uses those numbers to guide decisions: pricing, cash, financing, investment and risk.
How much time does a fractional CFO spend with us?
It depends on your size and priorities. Most engagements start with a set number of days a month and change as the business grows.
Do we need a finance team already?
It helps to have at least a bookkeeper or accountant. If you don't, we can help you decide what to hire or outsource.
Can a fractional CFO help us get bank financing?
Yes. We prepare the financial information banks ask for, help you understand facility terms and covenants, and support the discussions. The bank makes the credit decision.
